The clubs start with strategically placed tungsten weighting in the premium stainless-steel heads for enhanced forgiveness and spin. The perimeter weighting lowers the center of gravity (CG) while increasing the moment of inertia (MOI), adding stability on off-center shots. To help you cut through the turf easier, Adams added a four-way cambered sole and recessed heel and toe areas. As a result, you'll be able to play from all types of lies, even when your ball is buried in thick rough. And thanks to the clubs' ultra-thin faces, every swing will produce a hotter ball flight and higher launch angle, creating additional distance on the course.
The Idea Tech V3 forged hybrid iron set includes eight total clubs, starting with 4, 5, and 6 iron progressively sized hybrids and a transitional 7 hybrid mid-iron. The mid-iron is designed to bridge the gap between the hybrids and the scoring clubs, with a four-piece viscoelastic vibration dampening system to encourage exceptional feel. In addition, 21 percent of the mid-iron's overall weight is positioned low and back for better launch conditions and forgiveness.
The set then varies slightly from the traditional Idea Tech V3 all-hybrid set by including four oversized cavity-back forged irons in 8 iron, 9 iron, pitching wedge, and gap wedge configurations. Each forged iron features precisely positioned heel and toe weighting in the oversized forged heads, helping maximize scoring potential. Each high iron also boasts a four-piece badge system made using the same viscoelastic vibration dampening material as in the mid-iron, creating an extremely responsive feel at the point of contact.
And golfers will love the dramatic nickel chromium (Ni-Cr) plating and premium physical vapor deposition (PVD) black finish, which create a sleek, glare-reducing design that inspires confidence on the course. The clubs conclude with your choice of a Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara graphite shaft or a True Temper Performance Tech graphite/steel shaft. All Idea Tech V3 forged hybrids and irons include a Traction Tour Velvet grip.
