Adams Golf A3 Boxer Tech Hybrids

Adams Golf A3 Boxer Tech Hybrids Review

Adams Golf A3 Boxer Tech Hybrids Feature

  • Boxer technology delivers 30% to 70% higher MOI (moment of intertia) than the leading hybrids.
  • Low and deep CG (center of gravity) for easy to hit shots.
  • Milled face grooves offer more consistency and performance.
  • A cambered sole designed to cut through turf interference, gets the ball up and into the air with a consistent smooth feel.
Offering a revolutionary mix of high performance and forgiveness, the Idea A3 Boxer hybrids from Adams Golf feature breakthrough shaping and a category-leading moment of inertia (MOI), which is up to 70 percent higher than the other leading hybrids in its class.

Living up to its name, Boxer Technology creates a boxier clubhead design, which moves more weight to the rear and perimeter of the clubhead and helps to increase the moment of inertia (MOI) for greater forgiveness.

The A3 Boxer has a category-leading MOI of 3350, which is between 30 and 70 percent higher than other leading hybrids--translating into more distance, accuracy and greater forgiveness. Other features include a low and deep center of gravity for easy to hit shots, maraging steel alloy pull-face with milled grooves for a more consistent performance, and a cambered sole designed to cut through turf interference. It also offers a Grafalloy ProLaunch Red 80-gram shaft and Adams Traction Tour Velvet grip.

Moment of Inertia--This is the term applied to a clubhead's resistance to twisting when the ball is struck, and it can be expressed as a numerical measurement. A clubhead with a higher moment of inertia (or MOI) has greater resistance to twisting and offers more forgiveness on off-center hits (i.e., will fly straighter). The size and weighting properties of a clubhead can be manipulated to add a greater MOI.

Boxer technology, the latest breakthrough in hybrid shaping and performance from the innovation leader, Adams Golf. A straighter and longer ball flight with these new hybrids, thanks to the ultra-high MOI (moment of interia) of Boxer technology.
